Job Duties: - The Statistician III performs senior level professional inferential statistical functions in the design, analysis and presentation of complex, non-routine research and statistical studies; plans and designs surveys, experimental designs and research projects.
- Develops statistical models; develops and refines techniques for computer analysis and presentation of data.
- Prepares charts, tables or other graphic presentations as well as narrative reports.
- Designs complex research and statistical studies from the hypothesis development stage through the final analysis and presentation of findings.
- Forecasts future trends for policy implementation.
- Provides technical expertise to management. Serves as leader on large research projects.
- Performs Red Cross shelter duty or other emergency shelter duties/services as directed.
Minimum and Additional Requirements A Bachelor's Degree with statistical courses and experience in statistics.
Preferred Qualifications A Master's Degree in Math, Statistics, or other related degree preferred.
